PES Bookshop in conversation with... - Polish Educational Society

On Sundays, we host interesting monthly events in the Bookshop. You are invited!

Meetings with the authors at the Polish Educational Society Bookshop are organised for everyone who is interested in reading, the works of younger and older poets and writers writing abroad of Poland. The Polish Educational Society, the largest and oldest umbrella organization supporting Polish Saturday schools in the UK, promotes education and the teaching of Polish language, history, culture and traditions. Participants of this programme are Polish people who want to meet up and discuss topics covered in the books, among other things. We try to encourage younger and older readers to read the books in traditional, paper form, making a typical day full of digital technology more interesting. During our literacy and art activities, which always form part of each Sunday event, and through the book readings, we motivate children and Polish School students to develop their talents and broaden their imagination.
