We warmly invite students of Polish Saturday schools and everyone interested in Polish history to join the next edition of our “Treasures of the Institute” online lesson series, dedicated to Polish history, culture and heritage.
The lessons are created in cooperation with the Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum in London, giving participants a unique opportunity to discover history through fascinating documents, photographs and memorabilia from the Institute’s collections.
The first lesson of the new school year will focus on General Stanisław Maczek, one of Poland’s most distinguished commanders of the Second World War.
During the session, participants will learn more about his life, achievements and the remarkable story of the 1st Polish Armoured Division.
